About the event
A two-day virtual training event to teach safety awareness and help participants recognize and reduce the risk of job site hazards. The course focuses on general industry hazards (such as manufacturing, health care, and warehouse jobs) rather than construction hazards.
Topics include fire protection, machine guarding, personal protective equipment, bloodborne pathogens, and more. While not mandatory, the training provides a “highly visible means” of demonstrating to OSHA that the employer is committed to providing a safe workplace.
Cost is $79.76 for CBIA members or CONNSTEP clients. General admission is $159.53.
