Connecticut’s online business portal has been further modified, adding new tools to assist entrepreneurs in the state.
Business.CT.gov, which was launched last July, seeks to simplify business interactions with Connecticut state government agencies. It also aims to provide resources and information on topics such as how businesses should manage their taxes, build their workforce, find and maintain licenses and permits, and access capital.
Governor Ned Lamont says the new updates are based on feedback from entrepreneurs and include a customizable resource center that provides a focal point for 170 business programs, up-to-date information on COVID-19 matters, and a newly updated user dashboard.
Josh Gabelle, Connecticut’s chief operating officer and administrative services commissioner, says more than 2,500 businesses have utilized the site to assist with starting up since its launch.
