Connecticut Restaurants Launch Free Drink Incentive for Vaccinated Customers

A group of Connecticut restaurants has launched a “#DrinksOnUs” campaign, offering free drinks to visitors who bring their COVID-19 vaccine card. The initiative comes shortly after Governor Ned Lamont called on the business community to offer incentives and other strategies to encourage employees and customers to get vaccinated.

  • Participating venues provide one free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink to visitors who show their vaccine card
  • Runs from May 19 and May 31
  • Eighteen restaurants are currently participating
  • Individual restaurants determine which drinks qualify, and a food purchase is required
