- Presentations will now take place on March 3, with winners announced on March 5
- Startups with a “clear deliverable milestone” can compete for $10,000 grants
CTNext has extended the deadline for its Entrepreneur Innovation Awards, giving potential applicants an extra week to put together their proposals.
The deadline for the awards was originally set for Jan. 14, but CTNext has announced that entrepreneurs will now have until 5 p.m. on Jan. 22 to submit their applications. The organization is also pushing back its scheduled presentations for the event from Feb. 17 to March 3, with winners announced on March 5.
The program, which will be conducted this year through Microsoft Teams, will award $10,000 grants to promising and technologically innovative early-stage startups to assist with their next stage of growth. The program also has $2,000 prizes for Crowd Favorite and Judges’ Favorite winners.
Applicants must meet a number of requirements and have a “clear deliverable milestone” to be eligible. Ten finalists will present their proposals to a panel of entrepreneurs, innovators, and business experts.
