Emergency Grants Program for Hartford Businesses Opens Aug. 4

  • Program offering $7,500 emergency grants for qualifying Hartford businesses
  • Businesses must meet a number of conditions, including annual revenues of $500,000 or less
  • Applications will be made available on Aug. 4 and be open through Aug. 25

Hartford businesses can apply for a third round of emergency grants beginning tomorrow.

Applications for the program, which offers $7,500 grants, will be available at 8 a.m. on Aug. 4 at the Capital for Change website. Eligible businesses can submit applications through 5 p.m. on Aug. 25.

Businesses must be located in Hartford, provide at least one federal tax return, have annual revenues of $500,000 or less, and (if applicable) have an EIN and/or DUNS number.

Technical assistance for the applications is available through Blue Hills Civic Association, Upper Albany Main Street, Upper Albany Merchants Association, Spanish American Merchants Association, and the Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Hartford
