New UConn Grant Program Supports Student Entrepreneurship

A trio of Connecticut colleges and universities are launching a new program aimed at helping student entrepreneurs succeed.

Ignite Hartford will offer educational workshops to students at the University of Connecticut, Goodwin University, and Trinity College. The program has hired an entrepreneur-in-residence and will host a live virtual pitch night in May. There are plans to develop the program further in future years by expanding networking opportunities with local businesses in the Hartford region.

Ignite Hartford is being supported by grant funding provided by Launc[H]artford and CTNext.
