The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that it is accepting nominations for its annual National Small Business Week Awards.
The honors will be presented during the 2022 National Small Business Week Awards ceremony in early May. Nominations are being accepted until 3 p.m. on Jan. 11.
Categories include:
- Small Business Person of the Year, which is awarded at the state level; one of these recipients is then chosen for the National Small Business Person of the Year Award
- Small Business Exporter of the Year
- Phoenix Awards for Disaster Recovery, which recognize businesses, public officials, and volunteers for their response to a disaster
- Federal Procurement Awards, recognizing prime contractors, subcontractors, large contractors who use small biz for suppliers and contractors, and 8(a) graduates
- Awards to SBA resource partners, including Small Business Development Centers, Women’s Business Centers, and Veterans Business Outreach Centers
- Small Business Investment Company of the Year
