The U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Department of Agriculture will host a webinar later this month on rural entrepreneurship, including federal assistance available for these businesses.
The panel discussion will take place on 1 p.m. on Aug. 26. Advance registration is required.
The webinar will feature success stories from rural small businesses, including how they utilized SBA and USDA resources and economic aid to help endure the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will also cover how rural businesses can access these resources to assist their own venture.
Panel members will include business owners, SBA and USDA officials, and Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr., who chairs the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee.
