The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is inviting companies to sign on to its “Rally for Recovery Commitment,” saying it demonstrates a common goals in the business community of accelerating vaccinations, overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, reopening safely, and reviving the economy.
The initiative asks employers to take three steps:
- Encourage mask wearing and social distancing in the workplace
- Encourage employee vaccinations through steps such as establishing a vaccination plan or providing incentives for employees to receive a vaccine
- Amplify guidance from the Centers for Disease Control in company interactions with customers and the community, including on products, properties, and the business website
Companies that join the Rally for Recovery Commitment receive e-mail updates on expert guidance as well as employer resources and assistance on providing information to employees and the community.
