The Women’s Business Development Council has announced that it is accepting applications for its Equity Match Grant program starting today.
The program offers grants of $2,500 to $10,000 to women-owned businesses in Connecticut that have been in operation for at least two years. Applications are being accepted through Sept. 28.
The Equity Match Grant Program is designed to help businesses advance “clearly defined projects” that can have a measurable impact on the business, its growth, or its profitability. The funds cannot be used for expenses such as payroll, operating expenses, or real estate improvements. Applicants must also commit to providing matching funds of at least 25 percent.
