Shared Laboratories and Resources

Greentown Labs’ campus in Somerville includes a machine shop, prototyping lab, wet lab, and electronics lab. Members can also connect to investors and partners, and enjoy shared sources such as software and legal services.

Catalyzing the Carbontech Ecosystem

The Carbon to Value (C2V) Initiative will unlock a new carbontech economy, bringing innovative solutions to scale as rapidly as possible through the creation of a robust, powerful, and collaborative new ecosystem.

KAITEKI Challenge

Through the KAITEKI Challenge, Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation (MCHC) and Greentown Labs aim to form partnerships with startups developing validated technologies that provide solutions for addressing alternative proteins, waste plastic recycling, and preventing food loss and waste.

Offshore Wind Challenge

Vineyard Wind and Greentown Labs have partnered to launch the Offshore Wind Challenge, a six-month accelerator program supporting innovations in responsible development of offshore wind energy. The Offshore Wind Challenge is focused on advances in marine mammal monitoring, specifically for data collection and real-time transmission or data analysis. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center supports the Challenge as an Enabling Partner.
