Training Within Industry Job Instruction is a program teaching essential skills for supervisors, team leaders, and anyone else who directs the work of others or manages their training. This three-day course pursues learning outcomes such as building existing employee skills and flexibility through cross-training, identifying risks created if a key employee becomes unavailable, establishing reliable procedures for each process in your production workflow, and more.

The cost is $1,100 for a single registration. Eligible Connecticut manufacturers with fewer than 2,000 employees who send employees from Connecticut facilities can qualify for 50 percent funding through the Connecticut Department of Labor.
