This three-day training course, presented by Renishaw and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, focuses on the use of telescoping ballbar to evaluate displacement errors on equipment working within three-dimensional rectangular coordinate systems. The introductory course covers topics such as error types, ballbar hardware, evaluating test results, and making changes to machine geometry and control.
The cost to attend is $2,000 per person. Eligible attendees can receive funds toward this cost through two Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development grant programs administered by CCAT.
