About the event
This webinar is designed to help you understand what happens when you do business with the University of Connecticut. Topics include the school’s new supplier outreach and onboarding process, where to find UConn Opportunities, tips on what UConn is looking for in potential suppliers, and what issues keep suppliers from being awarded contracts.
Attendees will also learn what products and services UConn is looking to buy in the next six to 12 months, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the school’s sourcing and vendor base.

About the presenter
Veronica Cook has been the executive director of the UConn Supplier Diversity Program since it was established in 2005 to expand the enrollment and participation of small/minority-owned businesses on university contracts. She is a 26-year veteran of UConn’s University Business Services Department.
