Since 1908, the Connecticut Society of CPAs has represented the state’s professional accountants. The organization helps its members keep up with issues transforming the accounting business, from legislation and regulations to technology, and offers resources such as professional development, networking, and advocacy.

Any certified public accountants or any businesses seeking a CPA.

To be the professional association in Connecticut that promotes and supports state CPAs through advocacy, community, and education.

Professional Development

The Connecticut Society of CPAs offers a variety of ways for members to develop their skills and knowledge, including conferences, certificate programs, and on-demand video. It is also a member of the Connecticut Professionals’ Leadership Academy, which looks to strengthen leadership skills and build relationships by bringing together members from several industries.

Resources

A “Knowledge Hub” offers downloadable white papers, case studies, webinars, and more. The Connecticut Society of CPAs also provides information on topics such as financial planning, state and federal law, practice management, technology, and cybersecurity.
