The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Connecticut is the statewide component of a national organization; four regional HBRAs are also located in Connecticut. The organization represents more than 900 firms employing over 30,000 people, representing those engaged in new building construction, remodeling, and land development. It also serves associate firms that provide supplies, services, and expertise to these companies.

Advocacy

HBRA of Connecticut supports state-level legislative lobbying as well as a national political action committee advocating on behalf of the home building and remodeling industry. It also conducts a variety of public relations, communications, and consumer advocacy work.

Resources

Members receive regular updates on legislative issues, and can also participate in forums, access professional articles, and take advantage of other resources. HBRA of Connecticut also has online resources to help connect consumers to reputable builders and contractors.

Education

The Connecticut Institute of Professional Builders & Remodelers, a nonprofit charitable, educational, and research institute under the HBRA of Connecticut, offers seminars and workshops throughout the year at the state’s four regional offices.
