Transportation Planning

MASCO’s Area Planning and Development Department completes studies and makes physical improvements for the benefit of pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders and those who drive to the area.

LMA Services

MASCO brings LMA institutions together to achieve common objectives such as improving access, preserving open space, and expanding sustainability programs. It also seeks to reduce expenses by developing and delivering services like emergency preparedness programs, a call center, and joint contracting opportunities.

Area Planning and Development

MASCO’s area planning and development department pursues improvements in environment and open space, coordinates construction activities and city services, and plans and implements improvements in traffic and access including pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular access, long-range land use, urban design, public transportation services, infrastructure, sustainability and travel demand management.
