Founded in 1968, Independent Electrical Contractors of New England originally served Connecticut electricians before welcoming Rhode Island and Massachusetts members beginning in 2003. One of 56 chapters of a national trade association, IEC-NE conducts legislative advocacy and offers a variety of resources to its members, including professional development courses and an apprenticeship program.
