The Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts was the first business trade association with a mission of making business a vehicle for social, environmental, and economic change. The organization oversees a suite of programs dedicated to creating a independent, environmentally and socially conscious business network that can strengthen local economies.

Programs

SBN’s programs include the Boston Local Food Program, which seeks to create a vibrant local food system an improve access to healthy foods and the Cambridge-Somerville Black Business Network, which brings together Black entrepreneurs.

Events

SBN holds regular networking events and workshops. Its SBN On Tour initiative visits a local business to get an insider, behind-the-scenes look at how the host business operates in a sustainable manner.
