The Massachusetts Association of Health Plans (MAHP) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting high-quality, affordable health care in the state. MAHP represents 16 health plans and two behavioral health organizations, which provide health care coverage to nearly 3 million Massachusetts residents.

MAHP member health plans have consistently been rated the country’s best for clinical quality and have been pioneers in developing new and innovative programs to improve quality of care for individuals with chronic and acute conditions.

MAHP conducts advocacy and forms partnerships to pursue its agenda of making health care more affordable to Massachusetts residents, and also provides resources on issues affecting the cost and quality of health care in the state.
