One of the most prominent business lobbying entities in the United States, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce works to promote a pro-business agenda before the federal government on issues such as regulations, laws, and workforce policies. Advocacy

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce releases an annual set of policy priorities and maintains a staff of program leaders and issues experts to address them. The Chamber covers a wide spectrum of topics, including climate change and environmental issues, financial regulation, energy, federal contracting, health care, and taxes.

Programs

Numerous programs are hosted through the Chamber, addressing topics such as economic policy, employment, innovation, and technology. A Small Business Council is specifically charged with addressing issues that affect small businesses.

Research

Chamber research addresses issues such as cybersecurity, race and inequality, and commercial construction. The Small Business Index is a quarterly report on small business matters.
