CEDF Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Community Economic Development Fund

September 25, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

  • An online training allowing companies to be in compliance with Connecticut’s Time’s Up Act
  • Sexual harassment training required for all companies with three or more employees
  • Certificate to be mailed after completion

About the event

Under Connecticut’s Time’s Up Act, all companies with three or more employees must provide sexual harassment training to their employees (including part-time and seasonal workers) by Oct. 1. This training allows companies to be in compliance with this law, and a certificate recognizing completion will be mailed at the close of the webinar. Although the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights provides a free video for the training, this session allows participants to submit questions to attorneys specializing in sexual harassment matters and otherwise get a more in-depth understanding of the issue.

The training is $20 for CEDF loan clients and $30 for all others.
