About
Beginning at the start of 2021, Connecticut businesses with at least one employee were mandated to begin withholding 0.5 percent of employees’ payroll to contribute to the state’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Authority. These contributions will be used to fund paid leave benefits beginning in 2022. This webinar helps small businesses understand the program, including which businesses must participate, who is eligible for leave, and what resources are available for business owners and employees.
About the presenter
Andrea Barton Reeves is the inaugural CEO of the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Authority. She previously served as president and CEO of HARC, Inc., a large not-for-profit provider of services for people with intellectual and related disabilities and their families.
