This comprehensive course shares the principles and practices needed to develop and sustain a Lean Enterprise. The course includes classroom learning, on-site mentoring, and an on-site project, with 16 modules covering topics such as problem solving, lean principles and practices, and value stream mapping. Attendees who complete the course receive a Continuous Improvement Champion Certificate from CONNSTEP.
The course begins on March 9, with full-day sessions running through June 1. Appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken during classroom learning sessions.
The cost is $5,595 for single registration, with a $500 discount for multiple participants from the same organization. The Connecticut Department of Labor provides 50 percent funding for eligible Connecticut manufacturers with under 2,000 employees who send full-time employees to the event from their Connecticut facilities.
