About
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the weaknesses of relying on international manufacturers and suppliers, as supply chain disruptions created shortages of crucial items. Companies are now under increasing pressure to reshore their operations, including legislation that mandates or rewards the practice.
This presentation explores how reshoring can create shorter, stronger supply chains with higher profits for your company, looking at examples of Connecticut companies that have brought their operations home. You’ll learn how to quantify the costs and risks of reshoring, identify the products that are most suitable for the practice, how to get started with the process, and more.
Cost is $25 for ManufactureCT members and all CMC members, and $50 for non-members.
About the presenter
Harry Moser is the founder and president of the Reshoring Initiative, which was established in 2010 to promote the return of manufacturing jobs to the U.S. He previously held leadership positions at GF Machining Solutions for 25 years.
