Under Connecticut’s new Paid Family Leave program, a 0.5 percent payroll deduction will go into effect at the start of 2021 to begin funding paid family and medical leave benefits in 2022. This presentation seeks to answer questions business owners may have about the program, including which businesses must participate, which employees are eligible for benefits, and what resources are available to better understand the program.

Andrea Barton Reeves is the CEO of the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority. Prior to this role, she was the president and CEO of Harc, Inc., a not-for-profit provider of services for people with intellectual and associated disabilities.
