WBDC CEO Fran Pastore sites down with Katrina Adams, former president and CEO of the U.S. Tennis Association, to discuss her career path as well as the leadership skills involve in hosting the lucrative U.S. Open event. The discussion will impart lessons certain to be useful for any business.

About the presenters

Fran Pastore is the founder and CEO of the Women’s Business Development Council. She was previously appointed to the National Women’s Business Council, where she advised the President, Congress, and Small Business Association. She has frequently testified before Congress and was instrumental in the passage of legislation benefiting women’s entrepreneurs. Pastore has also done a great deal of international work teaching women entrepreneurs in countries such as Costa Rica, Ethiopia, and Turkey.

Katrina Adams had a 12-year professional tennis career before becoming USTA president. She was the first African-American, first former professional tennis player and youngest person ever to serve as USTA President.
