About the event
Following the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the economy, changes in the unemployment insurance system allowed certain self-employed people to draw benefits. Yet the process can still be complex and confusing, particularly when you consider variables such as businesses that have reopened to limited sales and expensive restrictions or how a Paycheck Protection Program loan will affect a claim.
This free webinar provides a tutorial on the unemployment system, including an overview of Connecticut’s system, when you’re eligible to file a claim, how certain factors can affect your claim or claims filed by your employees, and how to calculate your 2021 unemployment tax rate.
