Over the course of two workshop sessions on Sept. 8 and 9, CTNext and the BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting will cover how businesses can improve their chances of receiving funds through the federal government’s Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer programs.
The first day will cover “SBIR 101,” including registrations, eligibility, the difference between SBIR and STTR, contracts vs. grants, agency overview, and working with the Department of Defense. The second day’s “SBIR 102” session will include evaluation criteria and working with the National Science Foundation.
