The Connecticut Department of Labor’s Shared Work Program is designed to allow employers to temporarily reduce employee hours, allowing them to apply for partial unemployment to make up for lost wages. This lets companies reduce their overhead and retain experienced staff, while employees keep their jobs and benefits. This session provides more information on how the program can assist employers.
