The Women’s Business Development Center partners with AARP for this free workshop on how older adults can successfully launch their own business. The interactive webinar takes participants through five steps, including a consideration of the benefits and risks of self-employment, exercises on developing a self-employment idea, a realistic overview of working for yourself, guidance to avoid pitfalls and scams, and recommendations for resources and other support.
Pre-registration is required, and participants will be mailed a physical copy of the Work for Yourself@50+ 5 Simple Steps Toolkit.
