This webinar, a partnership between the Women’s Business Development Council and AARP, helps older adults gain the knowledge, support, and resources to start their own business. The program takes a five-step approach, taking participants through the benefits of risks of working for yourself, exercises on self-employment, a realistic overview of what it takes to start a business, how to avoid pitfalls and scams, and where to find trustworthy support and services.
