About
The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Contracting Program is designed to level the playing field for women-owned small businesses to compete for federal contracts. This free webinar provides an overview of the program and its eligibility requirements, along with those to be designated an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business. This certification course is required for any small businesses looking to submit an offer on a solicitation that has been set aside for WOSBs.
About the presenter
Tanisha Baptiste, an economic development specialist with the Connecticut District Office of the U.S. Small Business Association, assists firms interested in government contracting. An active duty member of the U.S. Army from 1994 to 2004, she also assists the local SBA Veterans Business Development Officer.
