Since its inception in 1989 with a $10,000 fund, it has distributed more than $75 million back into the community. The Cape Cod Foundation has become deeply entrenched in the community and the nonprofit sector, offering a variety of grants to nonprofits.

Town Fund Grants

The Cape Cod Foundation currently administers and oversees the grantmaking process for three Town Funds: The Chatham Fund, The Falmouth Fund, and The Fund for Sandwich.

Strategic Emergency Response Fund

The Cape Cod Foundation allocated $100,000 in discretionary money to seed The Cape Cod Foundation Strategic Emergency Response Fund, which supports nonprofits providing for Cape Cod residents in need.
