With its origins dating back to 1914 as a men’s business organization, the New Britain Chamber of Commerce has evolved to a more inclusive and comprehensive entity promoting the business and civic advancement of New Britain and its surrounding communities. Members can access a variety of business resources and enjoy networking opportunities with other professionals.

Mission

The focus of the Chamber is simply business: helping to strengthen and retain businesses currently in the community and to attract new and dynamic businesses; making assets and resources available to restore the city’s commercial base; marketing the features and benefits; and promoting the image of a community ripe for reinvestment.

Member Benefits

Members can expand their marketing opportunities through the New Britain Chamber of Commerce’s newsletter, marketing, mailings, website, and social media platforms. Members also receive benefits such as insurance and college savings plans as well as opportunities to weigh in on government affairs or join community initiatives.

Networking

Business meetings, seminars, and informal get-togethers provide opportunities to network with other professionals and gain insight on a variety of business topics. A young professionals network is also available.
