The Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM) is a nonprofit educational and advocacy organization, supported by a combination of individual and foundation philanthropy, dues from citizens and organization members, and proceeds from special events. The organization supports responsible state-level environmental policy, including climate issues, habitat and land protection, and smart growth planning.

The Environmental League of Massachusetts is committed to combating climate change and protecting land, water, and public health. By creating diverse alliances and building the power of the environmental community, ELM uses its collective influence to ensure Massachusetts is a leader in environmental and economic sustainability.

Resources & Services

Partnerships

ELM works with a wide range of nonprofit, corporate and government partners to protect the Massachusetts environment. These partnerships include the Corporate Council, which creates a working alliance between the corporate sector and environmental advocates in order to improve environmental policy and business practice in the Commonwealth, and the Global Warming Solutions Project, a multi-disciplinary effort to facilitate and maximize the implementation of the Global Warming Solutions Act.
